Kinan Adnawi

Kinan Adnawi is an established Oud virtuoso from Damascus, Syria. He began playing the Oud at the age of 7 and went on to attain an impeccable reputation at the international level. Adnawi frequently performs as a soloist and ensemble member at festivals and venues throughout the world, has won first place at major Oud festivals in Lebanon and Syria, and was named a Laureate in Oud competitions in Tunisia and Egypt.

Adnawi enrolled in the High Music Institute of Damascus, Syria in 2003, where he studied Oud with Azerbaijani expert Askar Ali Akbar for the five years of his education there. He later received his MA in Contemporary Music from the New England Conservatory of Music  (USA) in 2017.
