Amanda Feery

Amanda Feery is an Irish composer working with acoustic, electronic, and improvised music, and has written for chamber and vocal ensembles, film, theatre, installation, and multimedia. Much of her inspiration comes from literature, cultural criticism, folk musics, and the natural world.

Future projects include Longwave, a new work for Chamber Choir Ireland, commissioned by Cork International Choral Festival, a film score for Tadhg O’Sullivan’s upcoming film To the Moon, and a new work for solo piano for the Dublin International Piano Competition. Amanda is currently composer-in-residence with Irish National Opera and is working on an opera to be premiered in 2021.
